Part 3.10.3 Flood Hazard Areas

In South Australia Part 3.10.3 does not apply.
P2.1.2 for Class 1 buildings constructed in a flood hazard area is satisfied if the building is constructed in accordance with the ABCB Standard for Construction of Buildings in Flood Hazard Areas.
STATE AND TERRITORY VARIATIONS
3.10.3.0 does not apply in Queensland.
Note: Building work in designated flood hazard areas is regulated by the Building Act 1975 and the Queensland Development Code 3.5 - Construction of buildings in flood hazard areas.
In Victoria 3.10.3.0 is replaced as follows:
for Class 1 buildings constructed in a flood hazard area is satisfied if the building is constructed in accordance with the ABCB Standard for Construction of Buildings in Flood Hazard Areas.
The definitions of flood hazard area and freeboard in the ABCB Standard for Construction of Buildings in Flood Hazard Areas are replaced with those in the Victorian variations to 1.1.1.2.
The definition of defined flood level in the ABCB Standard for Construction of Buildings in Flood Hazard Areas is replaced with that in 1.1.1.2.
