The design, construction, installation, replacement, repair, alteration and maintenance of a sanitary plumbing system must be in accordance with—

(i)

AS/NZS 3500.2; or

(ii)

for a Class 1a or Class 10 building only, Section 4 of AS/NZS 3500.5;

and the requirements of this Part.

C1.3 Accessible fixtures and fittings

Sanitary fixtures provided for people with a disability must be in accordance with—

(a)

AS 1428.1 (2001) and AS 1428.2 for all Class 9b and Class 10 public transport buildings; and

(b)

AS 1428.1 (2009) for all other buildings.
