Part C1 Sanitary Plumbing Systems (Deemed-to-Satisfy)
Performance RequirementsCP1.1 and CP1.2 are satisfied by complying with C1.2 and C1.3.
The design, construction, installation, replacement, repair, alteration and maintenance of a sanitary plumbing system must be in accordance with—
AS/NZS 3500.2; or
for a Class 1a or Class 10 building only, Section 4 of AS/NZS 3500.5;
and the requirements of this Part.

Sanitary fixtures provided for people with a disability must be in accordance with—
AS 1428.1 (2001) and AS 1428.2 for all Class 9b and Class 10 public transport buildings; and
AS 1428.1 (2009) for all other buildings.
Part F2 of NCC Volume One sets out the requirements for the design and construction of accessible sanitary facilities in Class 1b, 2 to 9, and 10a buildings.
