As part of the ongoing improvements to our website, we have launched an enhanced search function.
To search all the abcb.gov.au websites, including the NCC Online, WaterMark and CodeMark microsites, click on the magnifying glass at the top right of the page.
Enter your search term into the search bar and a list of search results from across our entire website, including National Construction Code volumes, will be displayed. You can use the new filters listed in the benefits section below to make the search results more specific.
There is a second search feature in the online National Construction Code (NCC). This search only looks at the NCC editions and volumes. The NCC search does not have the filter options available in the site-wide search. The NCC search bar is next to the title of the NCC volume. You can also access the site-wide search from the online NCC pages.

Faster return of results
Results are displayed quickly. Click the ‘load more’ button at the end of the page to display more results.
Search filters
The ability to filter search results by:
- areas of interest, for example fire safety or energy efficiency
- content type, for example video or article
- domain (microsite), for example NCC Online or WaterMark
- file type, for example a PDF or Excel document.
